Gerard Batten Wins Round Two of the Leadership Race!

About 70 attended the hustings. Gerard was on great form and wiped the floor with the other candidates as I knew he would. Paul Nuttall chaired it. Ralph Atkinson tried to cause trouble but Gerard stood his ground.

Here is what some members said afterwards. Gerard is the best by far says a UKIP member from London. Batten will make a great leader says a UKIP MEP. The other candidates dont stand a chance, Gerard is great says another member from London.

Vote GB. You know it makes sense. Forget the rest Gerard is the best.

  1. Hi,

I note that at the London hustings Gerard sensatively avoided embarrassing London Branches by listing his immense generosity in making many donations of just under £1,000 to the branches avoiding any record that might embarrass all the branches with monies received at The Electoral Commission.

Batten's obvious diplomatic skills in not rubbing the noses of the inadequates in London, who have it seems from his comments under the chairmanship of David Samuels on Saturday been dependent on both his charity and his excellent management.

To avoid additional attention being brought on Gerard Batten's charity and generosity it was noted that David Samuels felt it wise to prevent Nikki Sinclaire contrasting her meagre donation of 1/3rd. of her salary in the face of what must be a huge amount Batten is handing out so generously in London.

We must congratulate Batten on his humility in not listing ANY of his achievements - or stealing a march in the leadership race by flagging up anything he has ever done.

This very modest action accurately implying he has done almost nothing of value since he became an MEP and merely acts as an irritant to the almighty one and for that reason he is standing for the leadership also - just to irritate as he has no ability of note merely prejudice.

    Regards,
    Greg L-W.
